Suitable for converting small diameter logs, speedily producing cants, squares or boards with minimum operator fatigue thereby maintain high percentage of cutting time. Suitable for logs 100mm minimum to 300mm maximum diameter, lengths nomimally 2.0 meters or 2.5 meters.

Carriage width 600mm fitted with the following features, pneumatic cylinder operation.

• Carriage offset - from the sawline on the return cycle, manual override provided.
• Raise /Lower Log Support - increased roller clearance during initial cut.
• End Dogging - By securing the log at each end, increases productivity.
• Cant Setting Stops - Increases yield ensures parallel cant .
• Discharge Flippers - Fast cant unload from carriage.

Carriage chassis robust all steel braced assembly wheels, one Vee and one Plain, axle mounted by heavy duty bearings. Replaceable Wear Strips are fitted to support the timber and protect the carriage slides. Fitted on the fence side of the sawline series of closely spaced 255mm long powered rollers, normally the outfeed section continues to run forward when the carriage is reversed, cut timber automatically fair ended, discharged by ejector arms.

Should the carriage be stationary override provided, following discharge override automatically cancelled.

Carriage and rollers are hydraulically driven and run in synchronism at infinitely variable speeds up to 45 m.p.m. (150 f.p.m.)  Hydraulic pressure assembly comprises compact steel fabricated oil tank, to which 3kw T.E.F.C. Motor, Hydraulic Pump, Solenoid Valves, Filter and pipework is fitted.

This Unit is normally installed at this machine’s Outfeed End.

Directional Control Valve mounted near to the fence controls, single lever controls both speed and direction.

Complete assemble is mounted to substantial sectioned all steel welded sub frame with end stops fitted with rubber buffers.  Sub-frame rests on and is bolted via levelling screws to concrete foundation.

The setting fence is screw operated by electric motor manually controlled.  Distance from the sawline indicated on scaled dial.

Multi-push button is available with pre-set options.
